Hey it’s Tori and I wanted to talk about the BEST KIND OF GARDEN! My mom had used sticks, bark, and plants to make a beautiful garden. But this garden wasn’t any old garden… this was my moms first Fairy Garden.

Yep… you basically make a garden that has a house and fake fairies in it. Here are the steps on how to do it:

1. First, you have to buy plants. My mom buys the kind that live all year long. And since she keeps her garden in a pot on the balcony (which is covered), she buys the kind that need shade. We bought small plants for our pots.
2. Next, you can go to Hobby Lobby and buy sticks of bamboo, rocks, shells, and anything you want in your garden. And you want to make sure you have fairies to put in the garden. You will also want a hot glue gun.
3. Then, once the plants are set up, you can you sticks, bark, bamboo, rocks, shells, and anything else to make it look like a house.

Me and Evie have planted our plants, and tomorrow we will probably start building the house. Trust me, doing this project is REALLY fun. Even though it cost about $30 to buy the plants, pot, soil, and supplies. Maybe you should try it!

I know I haven’t written in a while. But I would like to tell you about a game. It is called Spore Galactic Adventures. You have to have Spore to play it but it is fun. Here is what you get to do.

You can click on Galactic Adventures on the main menu. Then you can Play an adventure or make one, and there is one option for editing one adventure. I think it is really fun. And if you are in the middle of a game you can get to Space Stage. Then you can do adventures for another planet ( I think ). 

What’s fun a about making an adventure? Well you get to choose the animals and choose how or where they move and you get to make them say stuff. And you can drag a goal to a creature or an object or anything you have placed in the world. I didn’t know how at first. But then my brother told me how.

If you don’t have Spore I would recommend it. I would recommend Spore Galactic Adventures or the one I don’t have Creepy and Cute. ( Like sixty extra parts )! So try it out, if you have Creepy and cute I would like to know about it.

Tomorrow is…… FIELD DAY! I am so excited. On field day we do all sorts of events. And they are so fun. But here is some news that is good and bad. I am going to just come right out and say it.

Because of the swine flu, volunteers can’t come to the school to run field day. So… FOURTH GRADE GETS TO RUN IT AND I AM FOURTH GRADE! We get half of the time to play games with our partners and half of the time we run the events. Two partners are in charge of one event. So then when the physical education teachers came and call to switch the partners switch. I can’t wait!. My event is the duel. It is where you take one end of a rope and your partner takes the other end. You both stand on separate platforms that are small and you pull and try to get the other person to fall off. 

My partner is my friend named Karissa.  We get to play games then do the work. That means we have to bring in the stuff we used. Do you do field day. LEAVE YOUR COMMENTS. Please….

Evie is my sister. Her middle name is May. And that is the month that she was born in. She is seven years old. And it is almost her birthday! I am going to talk about her today.

Evie loves art. One time she made flip-flops out of foam stuff and paper. She used a stapler. And they actually looked like flip-flops. She loves to draw and do stuff with paper. She also likes to put makeup on. Sometimes we do that together. But Evie decided to do a cool thing with her artistic ability. Here is what it is.

She does not like to type so she did not want to start a blog like me. Until mom gave her the idea to create one to show her art. She loved that idea! So now she has an art blog. It is www.eviemay.com. You can go there and check out her art.
