The World According to Tori Ann

I have a friend named Chloe. Her parents have a really nice lake house that costs a lot of money. We went to her lake house on Thursday and got back late last night. While we were there our sisters Jena and Jessica and Marc came and so did Hannibal. It was Jessica’s birthday on the 4th of July. Jena had baked a cake. We got to go tubing on Big Mable and we got to ride on the boats. We got to go swimming in the lake and on Saturday something special happened. 


We got to go see the fire work show that people show every year. But one of the boats was not working so Jessica, Hannibal, mom, dad, Jena, Marc, Tyler and Jon did not go. Hannibal had a secret. He was going to propose to Jessica on the boat under the fire works on her birthday. But instead he did it on the dock. When we got back there was a pretty ring on her finger. The next day we got home at 10:30 at NIGHT. I gave Chloe my number so she can call me. She gave me hers. She just called me.

Easter is fun. Well that is what I think. Well the day before Easter I went and did an Easter egg hunt. But they should not call it an Easter egg hunt, because it is just a ton of eggs on a field with tons of kids racing to get them. But I got a lot. I got tattoos, taffy, gum, life savers, and even a cute, little, fluffy, toy chick.

After the hunt we rode a pony. Then we saw some animals at the petting zoo. We saw a lama, goats, a turtle, and bunnies. After that we went to wait in line for the rock climbing. But mom pointed out that it would take a while so we left the line. I was really upset. But then we did a spin the wheel thing to get coupons for Chick-fil-A. Then we saw some puppies for adoption.

After that we left. We had a fun time. Except for when I could not rock climb. And on Easter day, I got a toy bunny, a chocolate rooster, and some clay like stuff. I also got a cool chicken gum thingy. You put gum eggs in the chicken, then wind up the chicken. It starts to walk then… out comes the egg!
