Today I played a game at school. It was a math game, but it was fun. Since we had class numbers, we just split up between odd and even numbers. I am number nineteen so I was on the odd team. Get it? ODD team. Here is what you do.
First, Mrs.Gibson called up a number from each team. The she told us a definition of a math word. There was a board with words on it. And the people took a fly swatter to whack the right answer. In the game my team won like seven to six. Here is an example of a question. She would say something like an angle bigger then a right angle. So I would swat the obtuse angle card. Then my team would get a point. It was a fun game.
Even though this post was short, I hope I inspired this game to you. Leave your comments.

I like math, sort of. And recently Mrs.Gibson, my math teacher, got laptops that were in the third grade. They had tried them out in some other portable classes and we were the only one that the laptops actually worked in! So we went on this website called Oswego. The games are math games. One of them I absolutely love. It is called Power Lines. You have to start at phase one. Here is what you do.
There is a shape made of circles and the ones that are connected have to equal a certain number. Say you have a capital H for your shape. And your number was 13. So you would organize the numbers so that all the circles connected equaled 13. It is actually pretty hard. In phase one there is 8 levels after you finish those you get a password. When you click on phase two, you have to enter that password to play. When you finish phase 2 you get another password. Then you go to phase three. There is only one level on it but it is extremely hard. When I finally finished it, I was so excited. Because you are done with all the power lines!
Now that I have finished I can not wait to tell Mrs.Gibson. I am so excited!
